Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Daily Selfie mobile application (“Daily Selfie”, “App”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Daily Selfie.

  • If you are under the age of majority in your region, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Description of the Service

Daily Selfie is a personal photo journaling app that allows you to:

  • Take selfies using the camera

  • Edit photos and apply filters

  • Create collections and organize images

  • Generate videos including:

    • AI-powered morph videos

    • Timelapse videos

    • Template-based videos

  • Sync and back up your data across devices (if enabled)

  • Use optional cloud processing for video creation

  • Upgrade to Pro for advanced features

Features may evolve over time as we update the App.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may create an account using:

  • Google Sign-In

  • Email and password

As a user, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Keep your login credentials secure

  • Not share your account with others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

4. User Content

“User Content” includes the photos, videos, collections, and any other media you create or upload in the App.

4.1 Your Rights

You retain complete ownership of your photos and videos. We do not claim ownership of your content.

4.2 Your Responsibilities

You agree not to upload, create, or share content that:

  • Violates any law or regulation

  • Contains violence, harassment, or discrimination

  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

  • Contains explicit or harmful material involving minors

4.3 License for Processing

When you use features that require cloud processing (e.g., video generation), you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process your photos solely for the purpose of generating output (e.g., videos). We do not use your data for model training, advertising, or public sharing.

5. Cloud Sync, Backup & Processing

Certain features (backup, template videos, AI morphs, multi-device sync) require uploading your selected data to our servers.

By enabling cloud features, you understand and agree that:

  • Your selected photos and videos may be uploaded and stored securely

  • Your content may be processed temporarily for video generation

  • Deleting content inside the App may also delete it from the cloud backup

We do not guarantee that deleted content can be recovered.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Daily Selfie offers a Pro subscription that unlocks premium features such as:

  • More photos per morph

  • 1080p high-resolution video

  • No watermark

  • No ads

  • Premium audio tracks

  • Advanced video options (e.g., date overlays)

Purchases are processed by:

  • Google Play Store for Android

  • Apple App Store for iOS

6.1 Billing Terms

  • All payments are handled securely by the platform provider; we do not store payment details.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription via your platform account settings.

  • We do not issue refunds; refunds must be requested through Google Play or Apple.

7. Advertising

Free users may see ads delivered by third-party networks such as Google AdMob.

You agree that:

  • Ad networks may collect device identifiers for analytics and ad delivery

  • Your photos or videos are never shared with advertisers

  • Ads are removed for Pro subscribers

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App

  • Use the App for illegal or harmful activities

  • Interfere with the App’s servers or security

  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts) in a way that overloads our systems

9. Intellectual Property

All rights to the App, including software, design, graphics, trademarks, and logos, are owned by us or licensed to us.

You may not:

  • Copy or redistribute the App

  • Use our branding without permission

  • Create derivative works of the App

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or behave abusively toward support staff or other users.

You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.

11. Disclaimers

Daily Selfie is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted

  • All videos will generate successfully in every scenario

  • Your data will never be lost due to external factors

You use the App at your own risk. We are not liable for:

  • Loss of photos or data

  • Device damage

  • Missed reminders

  • Interruption of service

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of content, profits, or data

  • Issues caused by third-party services, ads, or system failures

Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro subscription in the 12 months prior to the claim.

13. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms. Changes will be posted in the App or on our website with an updated “Effective Date.”

Continued use of the App after changes means you agree to the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country or region unless your local laws require otherwise.
