General Questions
Daily Selfie is a photo-a-day app for iPhone and Android that helps you capture your daily transformation through selfies. Take a photo each day and turn your photos into a face timelapse or an AI morph video. It is perfect for tracking fitness progress, pregnancy, hair growth, skincare and more.
Yes. Daily Selfie is free to download and includes the guided camera, reminders, collections and video creation. Daily Selfie Pro removes ads and unlocks Full HD 1080p export, more photos per Smooth (AI morph) video, date overlays, and Pro audio tracks and templates.
Daily Selfie is available on both iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play). It is free to download on both.
Account & Privacy
Yes, an account is required. You can continue with Apple (on iPhone), continue with Google, or sign in with your email and password. Your account keeps your photos and videos safely backed up.
Absolutely. All your photos are securely stored and only accessible by you. We take your privacy seriously and never share your personal photos with third parties. You can read our full Privacy Policy in the app settings.
Yes, you can delete your account anytime from Settings. This will permanently remove all your photos, videos, and account data. This action cannot be undone, so please be certain before proceeding.
Yes! You can capture photos offline, and they'll be automatically uploaded when you reconnect to the internet. However, video generation requires an internet connection.
Taking Photos
Open the app and tap the camera button. The camera detects your face and shows a face guide, a grid and a ghost of your last photo to help you line up the same way every day. After taking the photo you can apply filters and adjust brightness, contrast and saturation before saving.
Yes. Choose your reminder time in Settings or on the Daily reminder card on the Home screen, and pick which days of the week you want to be reminded. The app sends a notification so you never miss a day.
No problem. Your gallery shows missing days, and tapping one lets you import a photo for that date. You can also change the date of any photo. If you prefer, you can hide empty days in the gallery.
Yes. Create multiple collections (for example "Fitness", "Pregnancy" or "Hair Growth") in Settings to keep each journey separate. You can switch collections when taking photos and when creating a Simple video.
Yes! Pro subscribers can add date overlays to show the exact date each photo was taken.
Creating Videos
There are three types: Smooth uses AI to morph your face from one photo to the next, Simple plays your photos in order as a classic timelapse, and Templates puts your photos into pre-designed video layouts with effects.
Simple videos use your whole collection. For Smooth (AI morph) videos, the number of photos depends on your plan, and Pro lets you include more photos (up to 60) for longer transformations.
Usually a few minutes, depending on the number of photos and the video type. You can watch live progress in the app while your video is being created.
Yes! Choose from our library of audio tracks. Pro subscribers get access to premium audio tracks for more variety.
Free users can export videos in 720p HD quality. Pro subscribers can export in 1080p Full HD for the best quality.
Technical Issues
Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Photos taken offline are automatically queued and will upload when you reconnect. You can check upload progress in the app.
Make sure Daily Selfie has permission to use the camera. On iPhone go to Settings > Daily Selfie and turn on Camera. On Android go to Settings > Apps > Daily Selfie > Permissions and allow Camera.
This usually happens due to internet connectivity issues. Make sure you have a stable connection and try again. If the problem persists, contact support.
Yes. Go to Settings > Theme to choose between two color themes, Rose Garden and Deep Ocean.
Photos & Storage
Your photos are securely stored in the cloud and linked to your account. This means you can access them from any device after signing in.
Your photos remain safely stored in the cloud as long as you don't delete your account. Simply sign back in after reinstalling to access them.
There's no limit to the number of photos you can store. Capture as many daily selfies as you want!
Yes. You can save any photo to your phone's gallery from the full-screen photo view, and save videos from the video preview.
Yes. Open the photo in full screen and choose Delete. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
